Tarek Kamel

Tarek Mohamed Kamel Mahmoud (Arabic طارق محمد كامل محمود, DMG Tariq Mahmud Muhammad Kāmil; born March 8, 1962 in Cairo ) is an Egyptian politician.

Life

Tarek Mohamed Kamel Mahmoud graduated in 1985 a Bachelor of switching technology and 1988, a Masters in Electronics from the University of Cairo from. From 1989 to 1992 he studied with the German Academic Exchange Service at the Technical University of Munich and received his PhD in the field of computer networks. Tarek Mohamed Kamel Mahmoud is a member of the National Democratic Party ( Egypt). From 1992 to 1999 he conducted research at the Information and Decision Support Center ( IDSC ) and the Regional Center for Information Technology. Kamel was appointed adviser to Ahmad Nazif 1999. In this role, he led a free internet project and supervised the construction of telecommunications infrastructure in Egypt. Kamel, who sat from 2000 to 2004 on the board of Telecom Egypt, demanded reforms, such as tax cuts and cutting red tape to strengthen the information technology. Tarek Kamel sitting in front of the Egyptian telecoms regulator the National Telecom Regulatory Authority ( NTRA ), the Information Technology Industry Development Agency ( ITIDA ) and the National Telecommunication Institute ( NTI ) and the Board of Trustees of the Information Technology Institute (ITI ). He speaks English, French and German, is married and has two sons.

Tarek Mohamed Kamel Mahmoud Nazif was in the Cabinet and the Cabinet Schafiq Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and held that post until a reshuffle in the Cabinet Sharaf, which was adopted on 17 July 2011 and shortly thereafter led to its replacement from. New Minister in this office was on July 21, 2011 Mohamed Abdel Qader Salim.
