Tariq Chihab

Tariq Chihab (Arabic طارق شهاب, according to German transliteration Shihab, born 22 November 1975) is a Moroccan football player, who played for the Swiss club FC Sion.

Career

Chihab began his career in 1993 at Chabab Mohammédia. There he played until 2000. During the year, he moved to Europe to Switzerland for FC Zurich, where he was able to prevail as a regular player. In 2004 he then moved to arch rivals Grasshopper Club Zurich. There he spent two years of his career until he moved in 2006 for one year for FC Sion. In 2007 he moved to Neuchatel Xamax, where he also won a regular place. In 2009 he returned to FC Sion.

National

Chihab is 18 times the Moroccan national team. His first international match completed in 2002, but ended his international career in 2005.
