Tarlac State University

The Tarlac State University ( TSU) (Filipino: Pambansang Pamantasan ng Tarlac ) is located in the province of Tarlac in the Philippines. It is a state university and is considered an important educational institution in the administrative region of Central Luzon. The university has three campuses, Lucinda, Main and San Isdro Campus, all located in the city Tarlac City. The Main Campus is located on Romulo Boulevard, Barangay San Vicente. The university has an external campus in Hong Kong, the People's Republic of China.

History

The University's history began in 1906 when the Tarlac Trade School was opened. Until 1931, the training programs have been expanded so that it was merged with the Tarlac High School. After the Second World War, Tarlac Trade School was again separated from the high school. 1959, on the initiative of the deputies Constancio Castaneda and Jose Roy the Tarlac Trade School into Tarlac School of Arts and Trades ( TSAT ). 1965, the school was awarded the status of a college and the Tarlac College of Technology (TCT ) was founded.
