Tarnów County

The powiat Tarnowski is a powiat ( county ) in the eastern part of the Polish province of Lesser Poland. It is enclosed by the circles Dąbrowa in the north, Nowy Sacz Gorlice and south, as well as Brzesko in the West. In the east, the provincial border runs for Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in north-western tip of the country bordering Holy Cross.

The district surrounds the eponymous city of Tarnów district, which also managed the county.
