Tarrant County Courthouse

The Tarrant County Courthouse, the Courthouse of Tarrant County in Fort Worth ( Texas). It was built in the years 1893-1895 according to the plans of the company Gunn & Curtis in the Neo-Renaissance style. With their design, the architects rejected heavily on the Texas State Capitol in Austin. The construction work was carried out by the Probst Construction from Chicago.

The cost for the construction of red granite building amounted to 408 840 U.S. dollars. In protest against the highly respected as a waste sum, a new court president was elected in 1894.

Today the building is the seat of the administration of Tarrant County.
