Tarwater (band)

Tarwater is a German Electronic duo from Berlin.

Band History

The first recordings of Bernd Jestram and Ronald Lippok that her musical career in 1982 in the East German art-punk band ornament had begun & Crimes, under the name Tarwater made ​​in 1995. The band's name comes from the credits on a record of the psychedelic band Love, on a musician name C. Tarwater participated. In September 1995, the two musicians gave at an art festival in Dresden, their first concert in February 1996 and their first Berlin concert in the Red Salon. The first Tarwater album 11/6 12/10 was released in 1996 at Kitty -Yo label. This year, their collaboration with the booking agency headquarters began. Composed for the movie Edgar directed by Karsten Laske and produced the duo first film music. In 1997 it published music for the short film roadblock directed by Carsten Fiebeler. 1997 reappeared at Kitty -Yo with Rabbit Moon, the second album of the band. In March 1998, Tarwater went for the first time on U.S. tour. In the same year Jestram and Lippok went together with Bernhard Fleischmann on tour in Japan. 2005 Tarwater gave concerts in South America and 2006 in Central America. 2007 reappeared at Morr Music Album Spider Smile.
