Taşköy ( Turkish for stone village, Aramaic Arbo ) is an Aramaic village in the district of Nusaybin Mardin province in southeastern Turkey today in the mountain Tur Abdin. The Syrians are members of the Syrian Orthodox Church of Antioch.

Geography
Location
Arbo is located 30 km south-east of Midyat and about 6 km from the Mor Gabriel monastery.
Climate
The seasons are very pronounced. There are plenty of rainfall in spring and autumn, hot and dry summers, cold and snowy winter. Temperatures range from -10 ° C in winter to 50 ° C in summer.
Population
Arbo was temporarily without population. Although by 1980, 30 families lived here, migrated in 1989, the last inhabitants of: the family of the mayor.

Churches and monasteries
In the Church of Mar Dimet are several patriarchs and bishops graves. Several church ruins ( Mar Schallita, Joldath Aloho, Mar Eschajo and Mar Schimmuni ), and the remains of the monastery of Mar Schimun near Arbo testify to the former importance of the small village.
