Tasman Rugby Union

The Tasman Rugby Union ( TRU) is New Zealand's recent Rugby Union Counties. He was born in 2006 from the merger of the associations Marlborough Nelson Bays Rugby Union and Rugby Union. The new association represents the regions of Marlborough and Nelson on the South Island.

The selection team of the Association in the national championship ITM Cup, which is called Tasman Makos, wearing their home games alternately at Lansdowne Park in Blenheim and Trafalgar Park in Nelson.

Player of Tasman are eligible to play in the international Super Rugby League and are summoned by the Crusaders.

Achievements

The predecessor organization Marlborough Rugby Union was in 1973 in the possession of the Ranfurly Shield.
