Tatiana Burina

Tatyana Ivanovna Burina (Russian Татьяна Ивановна Бурина, born March 20, 1980 in Novosibirsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is since 2003 Tornado Moskovskaya Oblast under contract and since 1998 playing for the Russian national team.

Career

Tatjana Burina began in her hometown of Novosibirsk Hockey to play and took with junior teams regularly participate in the national tournament for the Golden Puck. Since there were no women's team in Novosibirsk, 1995, she moved to Krasnoyarsk, where she played for locomotive Krasnoyarsk in the Russian Women's Championship. She was inducted into the Women's National Team in 1999 and since then took part in every major international tournament.

At the end of the season 1999/2000 she was awarded as the best striker of the Russian Championship and, after this success to SKIF Moscow, in which a large part of the internationals was centralized at the time. With SKIF Moscow, she won the 2001, 2002 and 2003, the Russian Championship.

In summer 2003 a new central Hockey Club was founded for women's ice hockey - Moskovskaya Oblast Tornado - plays for the Burina since then. With Tornado, she won several times the Russian Championship and the three times the IIHF European Women Champions Cup.

With four participations in the Olympic Games ( 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014 ) she holds the record for Olympic participation within the Russian women's national team. With the Women's Sbornaja she won two bronze medals at world championships - in 2001 and 2013.
