Tatun Volcano Group

The Datun Volcano Group or Tatun volcano group (大屯 火山 群; engl. Datun Volcano Group / Tatun Volcano Group) is located in the north of Taiwan, just 15 km from Taipei on the edge of the Taipei Basin. It is after about 1090 m high volcano mountain Datun Shan (大屯山) named and includes about twenty composite volcanoes, of which the most famous are in addition to the eponymous mountain of Qixing Shan (七星山) and Shamao Shan (纱帽 山).

The center of the volcanic group is surrounded by the Cape Fugui (富贵 角), Xiang Tian Shan, Shan Miantian, Datun Shan, Xiaoguanyin and Qixing Shan.
