Nevado Taulliraju

The Nevado Taulliraju, even called Taulliraju, with a height of 5830 m one of more than 50 peaks over 5700 meters of the Cordillera Blanca in Peru. The heavily glaciated mountain located 24 km east of the city of Huaraz in the Ancash region.

The Taulliraju applies mountain technically demanding peaks. It was only at the 1956 defeated by the Frenchman Lionel Terray and his expedition.

Like most other snow mountains of the Cordillera Blanca, it is part of the Huascaran National Park, in Spanish " Parque Nacional Huascaran ".
