Effect technique

A description of the vehicles used can be found in the article of the first movie taxi. The cab has the functions of the previous films. In Taxi 3, a Peugeot 406 The 2001 series is used again, but the car is externally changed something. Thus, the cars in the movie about painted trim or another grill than the normal model. The only scene in which the vehicle is changing is visible, in the French Alps. The structure of the chains for the vehicle comes from a Jeep Wrangler and fits perfectly under the body of the Peugeot 406, the engine sound of the Peugeot 406 3.0 in the famous racing scenes in or out of town, however, were of a Peugeot 306 GTI EVO II Rally Car recorded, which were later mixed in section and in the setting as sound files to it. The vehicle that was used for the engine sound recording, can be seen at the beginning of the second part in the hillclimb scene and was an extra three weeks borrowed from the film crew for the recordings.

The engine of the jeep was not changed, only the sill plates were sawed off in order to adapt them to the body of the Peugeots. The descent into the valley on the Skirennpiste was driven from the original car, but with different tires from Michelin. In this scene one of the two toy vehicles was damaged, had to wait almost 2 days on the second replacement vehicle, the film crew. The modification to this technique demanded from the mechanics of the film everything, because the so-called close up a brief lowering of the vehicle should be visible to the computer animation occurs. The control of the whole system using pneumatic 3- way systems, but only at a maximum of 40 km / h One of the original cars is at the Musee de l' Aventure Peugeot Peugeot in Sochaux.

Criticism

" Boring sequel to the successful film series in France, which ranks just about turned and stale gags together. Energy produced by Luc Besson series has everything lost with this part to bite and pace. Only a guest appearance by Sylvester Stallone makes for a surprise. "
