Taxi Orange

Was broadcast; (20 April to 27 June 2001 Season 2 ); Taxi Orange was a reality television series, the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation in 2000 ( Season 1 16 September to 30 November 2000) and 2001, in a similar format as the globally successful series Big Brother. Due to declining ratings, no further series was produced.

The mission

In Taxi Orange, a group of 13 young people referred to the house lived together in a Kutscherhof in the 13th district of Vienna in the Speisinger road 66 as taxi drivers they earned their livelihood, but they had two orange taxi vehicles (hence the name ) are available. The apartment, the courtyard and the vehicles were equipped with cameras. The entire life of the taxi -orange candidates was recorded and broadcast in a summary daily. The format

The format was developed on behalf of the ORF of Mischa Zickler, who was so honored in 2001 with the Austrian Television Award Romy.

The ORF sold the format under the name Biri bizi gözetliyor ( " Somebody is watching us " ) to a Turkish channel, which broadcast it to 2003 in a total of four seasons with similar success.

Candidates

The candidates were in Austria within a few weeks to stardom.

Season 1

Season 2

The taxis
