Taymyr Gulf

The Taimyrgolf is a sea gulf located just north of the far north of Siberia, Taimyr Peninsula in Russia ( Asia).

It is located about 1,100 km north of the Arctic Circle in an eastern part of the Kara Sea, which is a part of the Arctic Ocean. It spreads between the Nordenskiöld Archipelago in the west and the sparsely populated Taimyr Peninsula in the south and east. Average 400 km north of the Gulf is the island of Severnaya Zemlya group.
