Taza Pir Mosque

The Tezepir Mosque ( Azerbaijani Təzəpir məscidi ) is located in the Azerbaijani capital Baku.

History

The construction of the mosque began in 1905, the architect was Ziver bey Ahmadbeyov under the auspices of Nabat Khanum Ashurbayova. After the death of the patron of the construction was interrupted. Only three years after its opening, the church had to be closed in the wake of the October Revolution in 1917. Architecture

The interior of the mosque covers an area of 1400 square meters and is decorated with ornaments Azerbaijani painting and oriental patterns.
