Tczew County

The powiat Tczewski is a powiat ( county ) in the Polish Pomeranian Province, the county town of Tczew. The county has an area of ​​697.54 km ², on the approximately 110,000 inhabitants.

History

The powiat Tczewski belonged from 1920 to April 6, 1945 with interruption by the German occupation period from September 1939 to March 1945, the Voivodeship of Pomerania. As part of local government reform was on 1 April 1932, the powiat Gniewski, located in the Starostei Gniew, incorporated. On 7 April 1945, the powiat Tczewski came to the newly created province of Danzig.
