Te Atua Mou E

Te Atua Mou E is the national anthem of the Cook Islands. She was diagnosed in 1982 in the Constitution, the official national anthem, replacing the previous New Zealand Anthem God Defend New Zealand.

The music was written by the then Prime Minister, Sir Thomas Davis ( born June 11, 1917 † 26 July 2007), the words of his second wife, Te Rito (* 1923, † February 1990), as the Pa Ariki Tepaeru the house the highest traditional leader position in the country held.
