Team Spirit
Codenamed annual Team Spirit joint large maneuvers of the American and South Korean army were held from 1976 to 1993. In the United maneuvers the interaction of South Korean and American troops should be tested.
Attendance
1993 120.000 soldiers were mobilized for the Team Spirit Large maneuvers.
Reaction of the DPRK
1992 requested the Ambassador of the DPRK (North Korea) in the PRC, the south should cancel the Team Spirit Large maneuvers, otherwise the talks between the two governments and therefore the chances of a Korean reunification would be blocked.
