Tecosca Cormaic

Tecosca Cormaic [' t ʴ egoska ' kormik ʴ ] (" The teachings of Cormac ") is the name of a collection of teaching awards in the Old Irish language, which in the 8th - is dated the 9th century. The author is unknown.

In Lebor Laignech ( "The Book of Leinster " ), in the Leabhar Bhaile to Mhóta ( "The Book of Ballymote " ) and some younger manuscripts of the text is preserved. It is a dialogue between the Irish King Cormac mac Airt and his son Cairbre Lifechar that should have lived according to tradition, in the 3rd century.
