Ted Deutch

Theodore E. " Ted" Deutch ( born May 7, 1966 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) is an American politician. Since 2010 he represents the state of Florida in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Ted Deutch studied until 1988 at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. After a subsequent law degree from the same university and its made ​​in 1990 admitted to the bar he began in Florida to work in his new profession. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Democratic Party launched a political career. Between 2007 and 2010 he was a member of the Senate from Florida.

Following the resignation of Mr Robert Wexler 3 January 2010 Deutch was at the election due in the 19th Election District of Florida as his successor in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC selected. There he joined on 13 April 2010 at its new mandate. After a re-election in the congressional elections of 2010 he can exercise his mandate until today. His term will run until January 3, 2013.
