Teddy Afro

Teddy Afro ( Tewodros Kassahun bourgeois, born 14 July 1976) is an Ethiopian singer.

Career as a musician

Teddy Afro started his career as a musician in 2001. His third album, Yasetseryal, with over one million units sold is the best-selling album of all time Ethiopian. His tours also taken him to Germany. Was he to go to the record company Nahom Records, his album Tikur Sew appeared in 2012 at AdikaRecords.

Political commitment and legal problems

Teddy Afro is one of the critics of the ruling Ethiopian Revolutionary Democratic Front Ethiopian Peoples ( EPRDF ). His album contains Yasetseryal between the lines criticizing the government.
