Teddybears
The Teddy Bears, formerly Teddybears Sthlm Teddybears STHLM or called themselves, are a music group from Stockholm, Sweden. Band members are Patrik Arve, Joakim and Klas Åhlund Åhlund. Their music contains elements of punk, electronic and rock music.
Band History
The Teddy Bears were founded in 1991 by Patrik Arve and Joakim Åhlund under the name Skull as a grindcore band (not to be confused with the eponymous band, which was represented in 1991 to Projections of a Stained Mind ). After Joakims brother Klas Åhlund had been joined to the group, this in Teddybears STHLM ( Stockholm Abbr ) renamed. After two punk albums, You Are Teddy Bears (1993) and I Can not Believe It 's Teddybears STHLM (1996 ), the style of the band changed with the album Rock'n'Roll High School ( 2000), to electronically embossed rock music. This album, which also Eagle-Eye Cherry made a guest appearance, was the breakthrough of the Teddy Bears in Sweden. The plate was awarded to the Swedish Grammisgala as the best album of the year. The group was selected at the same event for Pop-/Rockgruppe of the year.
The best-known songs of the band are punk rockers from the album Rock'n'Roll High School and Cobra style from the 2004 release plate Fresh. Both pieces were known by 2006 Neuinpretationen. This year, the Teddy Bears took the song punk rocker with Iggy Pop on again. Also in 2006, Robyn coverte the song Cobrastyle, reaching number 17 of the Swedish charts.
Joakim Åhlund is also a member of the Caesars.
