Teemu Normio

Teemu Lauri Juhani Normio ( born May 9, 1980 in Tampere ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player, who was last to May 2011 at the Frederikshavn White Hawks in the AL -Bank Ligaen under contract.

Career

Teemu Normio began his career as a hockey player with Tappara Tampere, for which he was active in the SM- liiga in the season 1999/2000. Then the attacker played a year for Hermes Kokkola from the Mestis, the second highest Finnish league before he got five years for Lukko Rauma in the SM- liiga under contract. Before the season 2006/ 07 Normio received a contract with top Finnish club Kärpät Oulu, with whom he was in 2007 and 2008 Finnish Champion and 2009 runner-up.

In September 2010 Normio was committed by Kalevan Pallo for a try-out. After two games in the SM- liiga him no offer has been submitted, however, and he received a few days after the end of the try-out a trial contract with porin Ässät. Subsequently, he was not obliged and was initially without a club before the Finn a contract signed in December 2010 to the end of the season at the Frederikshavn White Hawks from the Danish AL-Bank Ligaen, with whom he was at the end of the season 2010/11 runners-up. Since then, he is without a club.

Internationally

For Normio Finland took part in the Junior World Championship in 2000, when he reached the seventh place with the team.
