Teemu Ramstedt

Teemu Ramstedt ( born December 9, 1987 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who was under contract with AIK Hockey Svenska ligands since August 2013.

Career

Teemu Ramstedt began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of HIFK Helsinki for the first team he made his debut, was in the 2005/06 season in the SM- liiga, the top Finnish league. In parallel, he played in six games for the Finnish U20 national team in the second-rate Mestis. From 2006 to 2008 played the Center for the League rival TPS Turku and ran in this period parallel to the Finnish U20 national team and Forssan Palloseura on in the Mestis. For the 2008/09 season the Finn returned to his hometown club HIFK Helsinki, with whom he won the Finnish championship title in the 2010/11 season.

For the 2011/12 season Ramstedt was committed by the Espoo Blues and completed in the following 91 SM- liiga appearances for the Blues before he was hired by the SKA St. Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League in January 2013. In May 2013 he transferred within the league for HC Lev Prague, but left the club in August of the same year, again without a competitive match for the HC Lev graduated to have. He received in late August a contract with AIK Stockholm.

Internationally

For Ramstedt Finland took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2005. During the tournament in six games, he scored one goal and three assists.
