Tegano

Tegano ( partly Hutuana ) is a village on the island of Rennell, which belongs to the archipelago of the Solomon Islands and is located in the province of Rennell and Bellona.

The village is situated in a lake, which is also called Tegano. East is Nuipani. From there, a boat or on foot in 45 minutes after Tegano.

The village has about 120 inhabitants. The inhabitants belong to the Seventh- day Adventist ( SDA ). The police station of the island Tigoa is also responsible for Tegano. The police administration is in the hands of the provincial government.
