Teh Kew San

Teh Kew San ( born 1934 ) is a former Malaysian badminton player.

Career

Teh Kew San won with the Malaysian team, the seventh edition of the World Championship for Men teams, the. Thomas Cup in season 1966/67, Together with Tan Aik Huang, they won in the final against Indonesia Agus Susanto against Muljadi and their first double in three sets. The second double against AP Unang and Darmawan Supatera was no longer discharged to the tumults among the spectators and awarded the Malays. In the individual he had previously lost to Muljadi with 15:18 and 4:15. However, the Cup traveled with a final score of 6-3 to Malaysia.

In his native Teh Kew San won in 1957, 1959, 1960 and 1961, the double discipline at the Malaysian Open. In 1959 he won with Lim Say Hup at the All England, his greatest success in the individual disciplines. He successfully was further carried out in the USA, New Zealand and Canada. In 1962 he became Asian champions in singles, and at the Asian Games, he won in 1966 with Rosalind Singha Ang Mixed In 1963 he won the New Zealand Championships, which were held open.
