Teifi Valley Railway

The Teifi Valley Railway ( Welsh: Dyffryn Teifi Rheilffordd ) is a narrow gauge railway in the track width of 610 millimeters ( 2 feet), which operates in the South Wales Ceredigion County between Llandysul and Castell Newydd Emlyn along the Teifi. It is a tourist narrow gauge railway on part of the Carmarthen and Cardigan Railway, later part of the Great Western Railway. After the standard gauge line was shut down and dismantled, railway enthusiasts have built on the old trackbed the narrow gauge railway. She currently runs between the hamlet Henllan and Llandyfriog. An extension to Castell Newydd Emlyn (Newcastle Emlyn ) and finally Pentrecwrt are planned.
