Tel Aviv Port

The Port of Tel Aviv was an ancient port in Tel Aviv, Israel. It was used between 1938 and 1965 and was next to the mouth of the River Yarkon. After the port was closed after the completion of the port in Ashdod in 1965, the area to a storage area was. In the 2000s, it was renovated and became a commercial and recreational area. The Port of Tel Aviv was part of a large development area called " the Yarkon River Peninsula " near the Orient fair. The area around the harbor was built in the 1930s.
