Teldau

Teldau is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Boizenburg land located in the independent city official Boizenburg / Elbe.

To Teldau include the districts Amholz, Bandekow, Grabenau, United Timken Mountain, Gülze, rear Hagen, Rietut, Schleusenow, Schwabendorf, Soltow, Sprengelshof, Tesch Bruges and Vorderhagen.

Geography

The community Teldau is the southernmost and at the same time most populous municipality of the Office Boizenburg country. It is located in the Natural Park Mecklenburgisches Elbe Valley and bordered to the south by Lower Saxony. The municipal area which opens into the Schaale brews. Federal highway 195 crosses the area from north to south.

History

In 1209 the present Teldau had the name Teltowe.

The former districts Neu Bleckede, New Wendischthun and Stiepelse ( until the end of 1973 independent communities in the former county Hagenow ) came by the State Treaty of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Lower Saxony on 30 June 1993 with the Lower Saxony district of Lüneburg. New Bleckede and New Wendischthun have since districts of the city Bleckede and Stiepelse was incorporated into the municipality Sumte. Sumte again went on Amt Neuhaus in the unified community founded on 1 October 1993.
