Telefónica

Telefónica S. A. (Madrid: TEF.MC ) is one of the largest global telecommunications companies. It is the second largest by market capitalization after the Spanish company Grupo Santander.

Telefónica operates mainly in Europe and the predominantly still strongly growing markets of Latin America. On the Spanish home market and in Latin America, the Group is the market leader and occurs under the brand Movistar, while in Europe ( outside Spain ) acts as O2. Other Group companies are the Internet portals Terra Networks and Lycos, as well as the call center operator Atento.

Acquisitions

Sales
