Telemadrid

Tele Madrid is the first independent television station Autonomous Community of Madrid and the fifth autonomous television station in Spain after Televisió de Catalunya, Euskal Telebista, Televisión de Galicia and Canal Sur. She was connected from the beginning to the Federación de Organismos o de Radio y Televisión Entidades Autonómicos and is a public broadcaster owned by the autonomous city of Madrid. The channel started its broadcasting operations on 2 May 1989. Program in educational programs dominate, but also live programs with political content, because Madrid is the seat of the Spanish government. The sister channel Tele Madrid is LaOtra.

Reception outside Spain

The global version of Tele Madrid was to receive free in many parts of Europe via Astra 1KR. Currently (June 4, 2013) is Tele Madrid off on Astra 19.2 East. Also receivable is the transmitter over the Internet via Zattoo.
