Teman (Edom)

Teman (also Teiman ) is an Old Testament figure of the Bible (Gen 36,11 EU and elsewhere ). He was one of the sons of Eliphaz, Esau's son, and a prince of Edom.

His descendants are called Temanites. The of them inhabited area also bears the name Teman. The exact location is unknown. According to Habakkuk (Hab 3.3 LUT) of God comes from Teman to judge the world.
