Temazcalteci

Temazcalteci was in Aztec mythology, the goddess of the Aztec steam bath. According to Bernardino de Sahagún, who assigns her name Coatlicue, Temazcalteci was also the goddess of medicine, the heart of the earth and mother of the gods. She was associated with the laboring woman and the war and revered by both physicians and surgeons as well as by the owners of a steam room.
