Temein languages

The tema languages ​​are a subgroup of the Nilo-Saharan language family of ostsudanischen branch, consisting of only two languages:

  • Tema [ teq ] (also: Ronge ) with about 10,000 speakers (as of 1984) and
  • Tese [ keg ] (also: Jirru ) with approximately 1,400 speakers (as of 1971)

Both are spoken in the Nuba Mountains in Sudan.
