The Office Temnitz is a 1992 formed Office in Brandenburg, in the first 17 ​​municipalities in the former county Neuruppin (now Ostprignitz -Ruppin, Brandenburg ) were combined into an administrative group. Geographical location

The Office is located in the center of the district Ostprignitz -Ruppin in Brandenburg ( Germany ), and borders the municipality Wusterhausen / Dosse in the west, to the north by the city Wittstock / Dosse, to the city of Neuruppin in the east, as well as to the community Fehrbellin south.

History

On 3 July 1992, the Minister of the Interior gave its approval for the formation of the Office Temnitz, has been set for the conclusion of July 16, 1992. Seat of the official administration was originally in the church Werder. The following 17 municipalities from the former county Neuruppin were summarized in:

On 30 December 1997, the municipalities Darritz - Wahlendorf, God Mountain, Kränzlin and Werder merged to form the new municipality Maerkisch Linden. Also on December 30, 1997, the municipalities Kerzlin, Küdow - Lüchfeld, pipe coating, and Vichel Wildenberg merged to form the new municipality Temnitztal. And at the same time merged municipalities Katerbow, Netzeband and Rägelin the new community Temnitzquell. On 10 January 2002, the municipalities Frankendorf and Storbeck merged to form the new municipality Storbeck - Frankendorf.

The community Garz was incorporated into the municipality Temnitztal for October 26, 2003 by law.

Amtsdirektor

Office Director from 1992 to 2001 was Werner Klüter. He was replaced on suspicion of embezzlement and corruption and sentenced in 2002 for infidelity to probation for one year and ten months and a fine of 3000 euros. He was followed by Mathias Wittmoser as the official director. 2010 Susanne Dorn was elected to the office director.
