Tempo Records (UK)

Tempo Records was a British jazz record label that was founded in 1946.

The record label Tempo Records belonged to the recently founded label Esquire of the most important record labels of the English Nachrkriegsjazz. After it was established in 1946 and first with shots of Traditional Jazz, among others was represented by Humphrey Lyttelton on the market that previously independent label was owned by UK Decca and released in the second half of the 1950s - beginning with the 25 - cm - album Meet Don Rendell 1955 - a series of albums of modern British jazz.
