Tennis (Activision video game)

Activision Tennis is a video game for the game console Atari 2600. The game was brought by the company Activision on the market in 1981. It was a game from a series of sports games that Activision published. This included Activision Boxing. The game was developed by Alan Miller.

Gameplay

The two tennis players in the video game are shown in pink and blue. Almost all rules from a real tennis game also apply in this video game. Except usually "out of bounds". Any ball that hits the outer line of the game field is counted as a ball in playing field. For technical reasons, hanging on to the low resolution of the playing field, the tennis ball is represented as a rectangle rather than a circle.

Activision Tennis was later republished in gaming consoles in the form of game controllers.

In 1983 with Real Sports Tennis a similar game.
