Defending champion Sébastien Lareau and Daniel Nestor were. The final disputed Fernando González and Nicolás Massú against Nicolas Kiefer and Rainer Schuettler, which won González and Massú in five sets. A day later they won also the bronze and gold medal in singles. In the match for the bronze medal and Ivan Ljubičić, Mario Ančić won in three sets against Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes.
