Tente International

The Tente - Rollen GmbH in Wermelskirchen (own spelling: TENTE ) is the largest subsidiary of Tente International GmbH in Cologne. Under the protected trademark Tente Castors and wheels are manufactured.

The company's history began in 1923 in the district of Wermelskirchener Tente with the distribution of ball castors and wheels for sliding wardrobe doors. With the production of wheels and castors for hospital beds, trolley, furniture and trolleys Tente grew in the years to approach the second largest employer in the city.

In 2012, the Tente group had an annual turnover of about 158 million euros. Tente is the largest roller manufacturer in Europe and operates 27 subsidiaries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
