Teodor Anghelini

Teodor Anghelini ( born March 9, 1954 in Orasul Stalin ) is a former Romanian football player. The defender played 334 games in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A.

Career

Anghelini began playing football in his home town of Brasov in Steagul Rosu Brasov, where he came into the first team in the 1971/72 season, which was represented at the time the highest Romanian league, the Divizia A (Division 1 today). On May 3, 1972, he came in the game against UTA Arad at its first use. Already in the following season he became the starting players.

In the summer of 1974 Anghelini Braşov left and moved to Steaua Bucharest, where he was in the first year an integral part of the team. With Steaua he could win the 1976 and 1979 Romanian Cup in seasons 1975/76 and 1977 /78 championship as well over the years. In the fall of 1983, he left the club, leaving his career at Steaua Mizil first in Divizia C, after the ascension 1984 in Divizia B, bar.

National

Anghelini played 25 games for the Romanian national football team, but was able to achieve no results. He made his debut on 23 March 1974 friendly against France. The last time he wore on August 29, 1979 against Poland, the national jersey.
