TER Aquitaine

The TER Aquitaine is a transport company that provides since 2002 for the French region of Aquitaine, the logistics of local public transport (LPT ). It will be served thereby, the five departments of Dordogne, Gironde, Landes, Lot- et- Garonne and Pyrénées- Atlantiques.

Rolling stock

According to information every day driving more than 300 trains with more than 35,000 travelers. This 158 stations and stops are approached, which are located at 14 different tracks. A total of 1490 km railway line in the management, of which 978 km electrified. Since 2002 100 new trains were put into service for 234 million euros and renovated 120 wagons. Since 2006, 60 railway stations in the region and 97 breakpoints modernized (as of summer 2011). The total expenditure amounted to 2002-2011 1.14 billion euros.
