Terenci Moix

Terenci Moix [ təɾɛnsi moʃ ] (actually Ramon Moix i Meseguer; born January 5, 1942 in Barcelona, † April 2, 2003 ) was a Spanish novelist and journalist who has published both Spanish and Catalan works.

In Barcelona at the time of the Franco dictatorship grew, Moix spent the 1960s in the artist colony of London and Paris and held in the 1970s in Rome. His 1969 published novel The Day died at the Marilyn - a family chronicle, in which the history of his home city of Barcelona in the 20th century reflects - was a great success with the public and brought Moix breakthrough as a writer.
