Teresa Maryańska

Teresa Maryańska ( born 1937 in Warsaw) is a Polish paleontologist who deals with dinosaurs and here is one of the world's leading experts.

Maryańska studied in Warsaw with a diploma degree in geology in 1960 and his doctorate in paleontology ( Bryzozoen tertiary ) 1967.

She was from 1961 until her retirement in 2006 at the Earth Museum ( Warsaw), where she was from 1976 Deputy Director.

They dealt in particular with dinosaurs from Mongolia ( Gobi desert ), where she was involved in several major expeditions ( 1964, 1965, 1970, 1971). They often worked with Halszka Osmólska. In particular, they looked at ankylosauruses, but also Protoceratopsiden, Hadrosauriern, Oviraptoren and led with Osmólska a taxon Pachycephalosauria.
