Teresa Wright
Teresa Wright ( born October 27, 1918 in New York City, New York, USA; † 6 March 2005 in Connecticut, United States) was an American actress and Oscar winner.
Career
Muriel Teresa Wright grew up in Harlem, a neighborhood of New York City, on. Wright had collected 1937/38, first stage experience at the Wharf Theatre in Provincetown (Massachusetts ). In 1938 she made her debut in New York and was then with Thornton Wilder's Our Town on tour. 1940 was successful in the play Life with Father on Broadway. She was noticed at the beginning of the 40's at a theater performance on Broadway the film producer Samuel Goldwyn. He soon got to Hollywood. With her role in the movie The Little Foxes ( The Little Foxes ) - the daughter of Bette Davis - she had such a success that director William Wyler her "the most promising young actress America " acted as.
