Tereza Smitková

Tereza Smitková (born 10 October 1994 in Hradec Králové ) is a Czech female tennis player.

Career

Smitková who began playing tennis at the age of six years, won 2012 ITF tournaments in Stuttgart master home, in glues and Hvar in a year. In June 2013 Smitková first played on the WTA tour at the Nuremberg Versicherungscup. After the successful qualification, she lost in the first round against Julia Cohen. At the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open Smitková again reached the main draw, where she beat Kristina Mladenovic in the first round, in the second round she lost to Sabine Lisicki.
