Teriberka River

The Teriberka (Russian Териберка ) is a river in the north of the Kola Peninsula in the Murmansk Oblast in Russia.

The river is 127 km long and flows about 70 km east of Murmansk in the Barents Sea. The catchment area is 2020 km ². It has its origin in the lake Repjawr, flows through the lake Puarentjawr and takes the tributaries Mutschka, Koljok, Narisjawrjok and Altjawrjok on. At the mouth is the place Teriberka.

In the years 1976-1990 two hydropower plants along the Teriberka were built with a total capacity of 157 MW and an annual output of 290 GWh.
