Termini (Rome Metro)

Termini is a tunnel station underground Rome. It was taken as part of the line B into operation on February 10, 1955, and 1980 for interchange between lines A and B. Since the two lines have no track connection, it is, however, technically two independent stations. The metro station is located below the Piazza dei Cinquecento and the train station Roma Termini, with which it forms together the main hub of city.

Termini is the only station of the Roman underground network of trains stop at several lines, although this will change with the completion of the third line C.

2009 began extensive modernization work on both parts of the metro station Termini. The cost of these renovations amount to about 63 million euros.
