Tero Tiitu

Tero Tiitu (born 23 April 1982) is a Finnish floorball players. He currently plays in the Finnish League ( Salibandyliiga ) for SSV Helsinki.

Career

Tiitu 1999 played for the first time in the Josba Salibandyliiga. Until 2002, it remained at Josba, the association of Joensuu, with whom he was after all a Finnish runner. 2002/ 03 he played as runner-up for the Espoon Oilers, with whom he won the championship title. Thereafter, however, he returned to Josba.

There he played one season before he was to play for Espoo until 2007. During this period he won 2004 bronze medalist and 2006 his second silver medal at the world championships. In 2006 he was also elected to the World Cup All-Stars team. 2005/ 06 he set a record in the Salibandyliiga in which he scored 63 goals in a season. For the season 2007/ 08 he moved to SSV Helsinki. In 2008 he was World Champion with the Finnish team in Prague. In the final Tiitu scored the winning goal in overtime against Sweden. He also won in 2008 with the SSV Euro Floorball Cup. From the Swedish journal Innebandymagazinet he was voted the world's second best player of 2008, behind the Swede Magnus Svensson. Previously, he had been elected after the 2007/ 08 season player of the season the Salibandyliiga.
