Terrence Boyd

Terrence Boyd ( born February 16, 1991, Bremen ) is a German -American soccer player who is under contract with the Austrian record champions SK Rapid Vienna since summer 2012.

Career

Hertha BSC

Boyd began his career in the youth teams of various smaller clubs. Prior to joining Hertha BSC during the winter break of the 2008/09 season, he was for the first FC castle, the TSV Lesum - Burgdamm, SC Weyhe, the LTS Bremerhaven and the FC Bremerhaven active. In its first six months, Boyd played the largest part in the second team (U - 23) in the fourth division Regionalliga Nord. He also came to five appearances in the A- Youth ( U -19). Borussia Dortmund

For the season 2011/12 Boyd moved to Borussia Dortmund in the second team (U -23), who played in the fourth division Regionalliga West. Again, he immediately became a regular player. On October 22, 2011 Boyd was the first time in the 18 -man squad to a league game for the first team, in the 5-0 victory against 1 FC Köln however, he was an unused substitute. SK Rapid Wien

Boyd played twice for the U- 20 and U- 23 of the United States. On 23 February 2012, he was nominated by national coach Jürgen Klinsmann in the squad of the U.S. senior team. When surprising 1-0 victory over Italy on 29 February 2012 Boyd came on in the 78th minute game for Jozy Altidore.
