Terry Jones' Medieval Lives
Terry Jones in the Middle Ages ( Original title: Terry Jones ' Medieval Lives ) is an eight-part documentary series by the BBC ( in collaboration with the History Channel ) from the year 2004.
Terry Jones, who wrote the screenplay and the series moderated, illuminated at half-hour episodes historical figures and occupations of the Middle Ages and clarifies the viewer on what myth and what is reality. He dispels stereotypes, historical inaccuracies, misrepresentations, and with subsequent Romantisierungen and transfiguration of modern times.
